This structure is the result of the requalification of the old milk collection station, contributing to the preservation of the cultural heritage and traditions of Jorge with regard to cheese production. It is a museum space open to the public 24 hours a day, where you can view, through glass, some utensils used in the old cooperative. Milk collection took place in the morning and afternoon, at times defined for this purpose. After the milk was delivered, it was transported to the cooperative, starting the process of manufacturing the traditional Queijo de São Jorge.
